What Causes Gall Stones?

What causes gall stones in the case of cholesterol stones is bile containing too much cholesterol.

Cholesterol-lowering drugs can cause gall stones because of an increase in cholesterol secreted into bile.

People being overweight also have an increased risk for developing gallstones which is why diet choices can be also a possible cause for gall stones to develop.

Even conditions like diabetes can cause gall stones or at least increase the risk of gallstones via high fatty acid levels.
